375 Union Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06607

Signature Beer: Ocean State Lager

Five-second Description: This place is a great reuse of an old factory.  Right outside the entrance, they have an actual Bansky spraypainting that was moved for Harlem.  That alon is woth the visit.  It is also a great space with games, couches and a restored Ferrari.  Apparently the owner owns a car restoration business as well.   the beer is OK, but nothing to write home about.  The restaurant is very quick and very good.

Why you should go:  To see the Bansky wall and to check out the Ferarri.

Signature Beer:  Little Death Czech Dark Lager

Five second Description: great spot reopened where the Hog River used to be.  They really decorated and made the space their own, and it is a great space with the old press in there. They added a few video games as well.  Really liked the quality of the Czech and German beers.

Why you should go: The location and the Czech quality beer.

Tree House Brewing Company – Tewksbury

1880 Main St, Tewksbury, MA 01876
(413) 523-2367

Signature Beer: Julius

Five-second Description:  Another location for the Tree House empire.  Inside it looks like a giant lodge that has wood from floor to ceiling.  German style seating in the main room and other arrangements in the other rooms.  I stopped by with only 15 minutes to closing, so I need to revisit for a full review.  Not the greatest out front, but there is a Tree House golf course out back that would be great in the summer. The to go beer is a bit confusing to pick up, you need to park in a numbered spot and then call them to let them know where you are.

Why you should go: If you are in the neighborhood, you should alswys stop by for the best beer in the country.

Food: They make their own pizza

Area Two Experimental Brewing

1526 Stratford Ave, Stratford, CT 06615
(203) 335-2010

Signature Beer: If you want signature brands, go next door

Five-second Description: This is just a short walk from Two Roads, but I feel many people miss it.  It is a lot nice and newer than it parent Two Roads, however, you should visit both.  They have some beers that you can try that you most likely will not see again.  A nice outdoor patio and an amazing barrel room. They do have food across the street.

Why you should go:  To try some real interesting experimental Two Roads beer.  They also have some standard beers as well if you are not feeling daring.

Signature Beer: Delivery Day IPA

Five-second Description: Brand new when we went in and it was hard to get a vibe.  Everything is very fancy and has great branding.  They also have a pretty nice kitchen.   I just think they need to have more going on there to get people in.

Why you should go:  Good food and beer.

Signature Beer:  Superscript IPA

Five-second Description: Real farm with great beers and a fantastic setting, although not much has changed there in 7 years.  I’d like to see some expansion or improvements to the facilities.  They also have been clamped down by the town of Kent and can no longer serve full beers, only sampler size.

Why you should go: Great for the whole family,  and only a few minutes away from Kent Falls.

7th Wave Brewing

120 N Meadows Rd
Medfield, Massachusetts 02052

Signature Beer: Lunar Sunrise IPA

Five-second Description: The kind of place that looks like it was designed by a bunch of guys that know beer and pizza, but not style.  In an office park and a bit hidden.  No outdoor space that I could figure out.

Why you should go:  Beer and Pizza makes this place a worthy visit.

Five-second Description:  A beauticful farm turned into a sattelite brewery and cidery.  Go on a nice day and relax in the Aderondak chairs or picnic tables.  You can also get a limited supply of beer brewed on the farm!  The beer is great and keep it a secret.

Why you should go: Less creaxy than going to Tree House and no lines with a chill place to drink.

Backbeat Brewing Company

31A Park Street
Beverly, MA 01915

Signature Beer: Anything from a Cask!

Five-second Description: Near the water and across from a train station.   The English beers are real good and the IPAs are also good.  Although the owner was not happy I was using Untappd because he doesn’t always get the ratings he expects on beers.  They did have a cool jazz band while we were there.

Why you should go: They have a store with British items in the back.
