Five-second Description: Very new when I visited, so we need to give this one some time. More Belgian and German style than IPAs. Their porters and Schwarzbier is very rich and tasty.
Why you should go: Right down the street from URI and pretty cool space in the back of a warehouse located in the back of a stone yard.

Five second Description: This is a great brewery that is often packed with a beer hall setting. Great beer and they serve pretty good food right to the tables.
Why you should go: The beer is really good and they sell cans in their gift shop. The real attraction is the pizza oven that rolls out pies every few minutes.

Five second Description: This is an extension of Jack’s Abby brewing in a different part of the building. The beer is very different, so it is worth a visit.
Why you should go: The place has everything you would want in a brewery and the barrel display is very impressive.

Five-second Description: Fantastic beer selection at great prices and they have entertainment. The tasting room was a bit small, despite the size of the building, but they are currently expanding!
Why you should go: Good German style beer with a lot of variety. Great setting behind Mt. Tom and a beautiful drive to get there.

Why you should go: Free vintage video games, movies on the wall and great beer. You can also swing in to kill time before your flight out of PVD.

Signature Beer: Too early to tell, but their IPAs rock
Five second Description: Great setting with rental space and many great beers to choose from. They took a different path by canning beer prior to opening a brewery. Which may explain why they don’t do growlers or flights.
Why you should go: Great beer selection, extended hours and always busy. They also have food trucks regularly.

Five-second Description: Not a place to go to for their beer, but they have about 28 other beers on tap and they serve food. A bit touristy, but a good place for a beer and a bite. Almost falling off my brewery designation, since they only had one beer brewed by them.
Why you should go: The setting is in Mystic Village and they have a really cool porch, plus the inside is like an old German beer hall.
